(Tysons Corner, VA) – Fashion and philanthropy combined with a celebrity-inspired, VIP shopping experience will be the backdrop for “Party With a Purpose,” the area’s premier, charitable fashion event of the season.  Jewell Green, wife of Pro Football Hall of Famer Darrell Green and founder of POSH Couture, a leading fashion consultancy and design house based in the metropolitan Washington, DC area will present this fashion and accessory showcase through her philanthropic and social event division, POSH GiRL events.  Party With a Purpose will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA.

 

“This is the public’s chance to experience high-quality fashion and network with upscale business owners, designers and vendors while supporting an extremely important cause,” said POSH GiRL Events Founder and Stylist Jewell Green. “As a fashion consultant and small business owner, I know that the benefits for our vendors will be immeasurable. Party With a Purpose will connect them with a group of potential clientele such as current and former athletes, socialites and high-income professionals. This event is going to be fun, fashionable and beneficial to residents in Haiti who are still recovering from the earthquakes on January 12.”

Delicious delicacy and pastry shops to enhance the shopping experience
Sports memorabilia products for fans and athletic enthusiasts
A POSH Pamper Room, featuring manicures, massage treatments, makeovers and more
Celebrity red-carpet area with current and former members of the NFL
A POSH networking environment in the upscale Ritz-Carlton

 
A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the National Football League Players Association’s pledge to “ONE TEAM 4 HAITI,” to support earthquake relief efforts in Haiti through the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.

All proceeds benefit The Tigerlily Foundation.  The Tigerlily Foundation is a leading foundation providing full lifecycle services and support to young women before, during and after breast cancer. Programs include providing buddies, meals, buddy bags, financial assistance, and more, to young women.
